You’ve linked and confirmed a mobile number.

A real phone number is harder to fake than an email. Verifying yours tells other users you’re a real person with a real way to reach you. Phone verification is also one of the prerequisites for sending unprompted booking requests.

New to illuvia? You’ll need to have a conversation with someone before sending them a booking request... which is how we should all be doing things anyway!

You’ve been on the platform for 30+ days, uploaded 5+ images, have phone verification and have no reports against you.

This one’s earned through use, not a form. Once you’ve been around long enough to build a presence and show you’re here for the right reasons, you can send booking requests directly - no prior chat needed.

You’ve verified your identity against a government-issued ID.

This is the highest level of trust on illuvia. Verification is handled securely through Stripe - we never see or store your documents. You’ll get a visible badge on your profile and a boost in search results as our way of thanking you for ensuring illuvia stays a safe platform.

Models: look for this badge when deciding who to work with. It’s the strongest verification we provide, and makes it much more likely that this user is who they say they are.

Photographers: this is the single best thing you can do to stand out and build trust with new contacts.
